"The Wedding Bells"

And I can hear the wedding bells, oh my darling they ring out my fear, I am almost beside myself, real commitment, I just want a beer.

Oh my darling here we go again, I'm not coping ,out of time, obligation really on the line, I'll come through this time.

And I can hear the organ play it seems to say "what are you doing here" You can save it for another day, another month,another year.

If you're the one is this the time and the place, to make a lifetime vow, The fear the doubt is written over my face, I'll make my lonely exit now!

And I can hear the wedding bells, a distant sound as I flee the day, the tin cans rattle on the ground an empty rythm as I drive away.
